Potassium Overdose
Here is an example of potassium overdosage:
I took potassium every day for a few weeks. the dosage reached approximately 10 grams per day. I was admitted into I.C.U. [Intensive Care Unit] of the hospital. My heart was almost completely stopped. The doctor asked "Why are you really here? We cannot do anything for you. We could transfer you to C.C.U.". Instead of going o C.C.U. [Critical Care Unit for those who are dying], I went home. I treated myself.
I knew; but did not feel, the T waves of the heart are heightened critically in an overdose. The heart simply stops. The potassium regulates heart function as well as nerve functions.
